Boulder Flatirons engagement session

Boulder Flatirons Engagement Session | Hannah + Ethan

This summer, Hannah, Ethan and their adorable golden retriever pup, Milo, met me at the Boulder Flatirons for their engagement session as the sunset behind the mountains. Hannah, like myself, is from the Midwest so we immediately hit it off and got to chatting about what it’s like living in the West compared to back home. Hannah and Ethan are from different states but met here in Colorado some years back! These two are planning a wedding on the East Coast in Maine, which is where Ethan is from! Hannah and Ethan chose the Boulder Flatirons for their engagement session location because they love the mountains and wanted to be able to bring their puppy with them to the shoot. It’s nice shooting at the flatirons because of how easily accessible it is (don’t have to walk too far, there’s a parking lot, etc) while also being extremely beautiful. The soft tones from the tall grass mixed with the cool tones of the mountains behind you are *chef’s kiss*.

All of us could not stop laughing at how anxiously attached Milo was to them. Anytime we would move an inch, he would be right there with us (hence his little head popping up next to them in some of these photos hahaha). Thankfully, I brought one of my best friends along to the shoot so she preoccupied Milo with treats and walked him around the trails so Hannah and Ethan didn’t have to worry about him not leaving their sides. Don’t we all want to be loved as much as Milo loves Hannah and Ethan? Lol.

If you’re considering an engagement session at the Boulder Flatirons, take me with you! Even when there’s a good amount of people there, the place is so big it doesn’t feel crowded. Inquire here!
