Taking a beautiful couple’s engagement photos in the Blue Ridge Mountains with peak fall colors is something I can now cross off my bucket list. But honestly, I cannot believe how much we lucked out with the weather and the fall colors. I learned through research that the warmer the season, the later the colors peak. We shot the first weekend of November so I wasn’t sure how the fall colors would look, but after more research that lessened my worries, we had the most stunning 360 views of the colorful trees on the mountains! We had an easy and short hike up to the spot and even had a great sunset.

Haley and Hunter relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina for work from Ohio and decided to have me meet them in Asheville to document their engagement session. They wanted to be able to document this time in their lives in their new home as they are getting married back home in Ohio. We had such a good time shooting as neither one of us had been to Asheville before and we would stop every once in a while just to take in the stunning views. This was a session that I really had to take a moment, step back, and feel so much gratitude for what I do and who I get to do it with. Photographing lovely humans in stunning places has been a dream of mine for so long and it’s such a surreal moment getting to experience your dreams coming to fruition.
